Christ Conception and Birth

Now the birth of  Christ was this, When Mary His mother was espoused to Joseph; before they came together,  She was found with Child  Of the Holey Ghost.   And She brought forth a Son and called His Name Jesus:  For He shall  Saved His people from there Sin. This was Fulfilled which was spoken in Isaiah 7:14, Therefore  the Lord   Himself  Shall give you a Sign; Behold a Virgin shall conceive, and bear a Son, and call His Name Immanuel.  Jesus was born in Bethlehem,  Land of Judea,  Matthew 2.  But His parents,  flee with Him to Egypt:  till after the death of Herod the King who wanted to Kill Him.  We knew the Angel Story,  but in our hearts,  do we really knew the King of Kings?   the one who open Heavens gate and let us, Sinners In, We sing Joy to the World, the Lord is come,  but is there real concern for those who does not know Christ?   He is not just the baby in a Manger He is God Incarnate

Christ the Lamb of God He take a way the Sin of the World.  He is the Son of God. He lived a holey Life,He was our perfect example.  Joy to the world the Lord is come Good tidings of great Joy the Angel brought to the Shepherds,   A Savour is born, which is Christ  The Lord.   He is the Divine Savior of the world. The Almighty Savor,  HE IS COME TO SEEK AND TO SAVE THOSE WHO WERE LOST.  Our redeemer,  thank you Lord for coming, Lord we did not treat you right when you came, forgive us Lord we did not know who you were.  Glory to God in the Highest:   peace good will to   toward  Men,   A Savour is born.   My Savour is He yours?    Merry Christmas Every One.

Let's celebrate God's Loving kindness.

God took human form and came into this world and lived among us. He took our suffering and pain. He gave us a new life. What a joy it is to know Christ and to experience His grace, as His love shines in and through us. As born again Christians, we thank Him for His goodness. We should take the time to listen to the Holy Spirit which speaks to our hearts in the still of the night when everyone and everything is quiet, only you and God, when He hold your hands and said my child I am with you all ways even unto the ends of the world. as we open our mind to the leading of the Spirit and ask God for help no matter what the cause of your struggles are God can help. We can trust Him to be our savour, our guide, and our salvation.

Jesus is the rock of our Salvation, and His banner over us is love. with Christ love, and God forgiveness, and the Holy Spirit working in our lives, we are covered. we just have to be obedient, to God's command. God is great and greatly to be praised, He is mighty, in power, in goodness, and in mercy. He is a Awesome,God, He is gracious and full of Compassion. His tender mercy can be seen all over His works. So as we cast all our care on Jesus, and give Him Thanks, for He love us, and the whole world, very much, that is why Jesus came. He shed His blood on the cross for us, we did not give Him a good reason to do that for us. But with God's Love, and Jesus Obedient, make it happen. The Lord Jesus Christ came to do the Father's will, and He did, He was Obedient unto Death. He came to call sinner's we are all sinner's.

Yes Adam and Eve get us into this but God made a way for us to get out of it. Jesus is the only way, He can remove your guilt and set you free. as we learn to follow Christ, we can be confident in His ability to keep us from falling, He said all that my Father give me will come to me, and those that come to me I will not cast out. He will never leave or for sake us. He promise never to leave or for sake us. We cast all our care on Jesus because He care for us. God is the source of our strength. we can take courage in God strength. Knowing that Christ is with us where ever we go, and in every decision we make, we are secure in His love. In God we have actcess to the throne of grace. We can feel God's presents all around us. We are Gods creation, we are a live in Christ,We may stumble, because we are disobedient, But God will forgive us. Thank you God.

Jesus the Light of the World is Come

We give thank's to God,  for sending His Son into this world to died for our sins.   We  give thank's,   to the Lord Jesus Christ,  for giving His life on the cross of calvary, to redeem us from sin.   Thanking  you Lord for saving us.  He is born of a virgin His Name Emmanuel,    God   With Us.    She Shall bring forth a Son,  and thou shalt called  His Name Jesus,  For He hall save His people from there sin.

His birth was predicted from the beginning    Jesus the promise Son,  came into the world to saved sinners.  Isaiah 53:   Told us that He would grow up before us as a tender plant,  He would be despised and rejected by Men,    He would borne our grief and carried our sorrows,    He would be Stricken by God,  and Afflicted.    But it was all for us,   He was Wounded for our Transgressions,     He was bruised for our iniquities,  The Chastisement of  our peace was upon Him,  and with His Stripes  We are Healed. yet we go our own way, All our Iniquity was Laid on Him, but we just turn and walk a way.

He was Oppressed, and He was  Afflicted,   but He said nothing, He was Cut Off from the Land of the Living,  it still did not matter to us.   He made His Grave with the wicked,  we turn our backs on Him,  Yet it please God to bruise Him.  He put Him to grief,   His Soul was made on offering for Sin.Even though He did nothing wrong. When God See the Travail of His Soul He was Satisfied,   For by this, our sin was paid for, God was Satisfied. Is it nothing to you why not say yes to Jesus,  He is Calling you. Open your Hearts door and let Him in.

God is my source of strength.

I can take courage in God's strength, knowing that He is with me where ever i go,  and what ever i do. and every step i take is guided by God. As we learn to follow Christ,  lets keep our eyes  on Jesus, He will do, what He said He will do.   He said He is the Good Shepard,  He takes care of His Sheep.  He is the Light of the world, brighter than the morning star. We can stand firm knowing that under neath are His Ever Lasting Arms. He is our guide, when we cant find our way.  He came to call sinners,  we are all sinners,  but God save's us by His Grace.   Adam and Eve, gets us in this mud but,  the Lord Jesus came to get us out of it. we do not have to keep wallowing in the sin of the past. You can know that your sin are forgiven and you are on your way to Heaven.

John 6: 37-40 Jesus said]  All that the Father give me shall come to me,   and him that cometh to me, I will in no wise cast out.  For I come down from Heaven, not to do my own will,  but the will, of  the one who sent me.  And this is the Father's will which hath sent me,   that of all, which He hath given me I should lose nothing,   but should raise them up at the last day.  And this is the will of Him that sent me,  that every one which seeth  the Son,  and believeth on Him,  may have ever-lasting life,  and I will raise him up at the last day.  We are chosen by God, and  protected by Christ.  That's a great position  we are in,  held by the power of God,  in Jesus we are secure.

Christ came to do the will of His Father,  and His Father's will is that we may be saved. John 3: 16,  For God so Loved the world that He gave His only begotten son,  that whosoever believeth in Him, should not perish, but have ever lasting life. God is Love,  and as we walk with Him,  God is patience with us,  but will not hold His anger for ever.when He gave His Son to died on the cross for us,   He gave His most precious gift.  and He give us all a choice,  we chouse  Heaven or Hell;    we accept His free offer of Salvation are we may reject it.   God will not force any of us to go to Heaven,  the choice  is your's  accept or reject Him. Jesus is still calling.  will you heed His call.

God is a Spirit: We worship God in Spirit and in Truth

We may not be able to understand everything about God,  but by faith we believe His word.  God is not a man; our human mind cannot fully comprehend  the attributes and Glory of the Eternal Godhead.  God revealed Himself in many ways in the past.  the Lord Jesus Christ the son  of God,  The visible Expression  of God,  said if you see me you see the Father,  Jesus   said He  is the light of the world,  He is the word of God. He is the Good Shepherd,  He know us by name.  He takes  care of His sheep.

Jesus is the rock of our salvation,  and His banner over us is Love.  He is  kind and loving.  We are all Solder marching in God's army,  when one is wounded, lets not shoot him.  Jesus died for that wounded Lamb.   While we help to build  His Church,  on  the Rock which is Jesus. As we continue to look in the wonderful face of Jesus,  the things of this world will grow dim, we will see our spirit  life in a new way.  When we see what  He has done for us,   we would love  Him and serve Him with  all our heart's.

We can cast all our care upon Jesus, because He care's for us. psalm 18 : 2, The Lord is my rock, my deliverer, my Salvation,  In whom  I will thrust. We can call upon Him,  day or night, He will not be disappointed  when we make a mistake or put up a black flag for all to see. God look upon us as humans prone to make mistakes and does not condemned  us. Jesus is love and in Him is no darkness at all.  As we grow, we may feel challenge, but never make  what people say turn you off, or a way from  following    God.  They did the same  thing  to the Lord Jesus Christ.   it's so easy to give up, that's the enemy trap. Don't fall for  that.God is Love.

God's plan of salvation

Salvation is a free gift,  each person is expected to exercise faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.  As the sin bearer,    to turn from a  life of sin,  and turn to God.  Act 10: 43,   To Him gave all the Prophets witness , that  through  His Name whosoever believeth,  in Him  shall receive  remission  of sin.   He will make you  wright before God.   The bible tells us the truth  about our self,  all have sinned  and come short of the Glory of God,  we may be able to hide that fact for a while  from others,   but  God know's  our Hearts,   we cant hide from Him even though we try,   Adam and Eve try,  but they had to come out of hiding,    and face there Maker.   So  every one who does not  accept the free gift Christ offered you.  Salvation is a free gift,  Only because Christ Paid for it  by dying on the cross He paid the sin death, a death that we could not pay  praise God He paid It all.  We inherited  the sin nature from Adam,  but God made away for us through His Son,  we can be free,  Save for time and for Eternity.

John 3: 16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son,  that whosoever  believeth in Him should not perish but have Ever-lasting life.   We are reconciled  to God,  by the death of His Son.   Salvation  is for every who believed,   Romans 10: v 9, Say that if thou shalt confess  with thy mouth the Lord Jesus,    and believe in thy Heart that God hath raised Him from the dead,   you will  be saved.  for with  the heart man believeth unto righteousness;  and with the mouth confession is made unto Salvation.  Christ was our substitute,     1Peter2: 24,Christ]   who Him self  bare Our Sins  in His body on the tree,  that we,  being dead to sin  should live unto righteousness:   by whose Stripes  we are healed.  For you were as Sheep going a stray;     but now return unto the Shepard and Bishop of your Soul.  Christ Suffered  For Us Leaving us on Example that we should follow His Step:  When He was Reviled He Did not Revile again, May God Give Us The Grace to follow His Example.

+God will still the storm in your life

God is strong and power full,  He is willing  to help us with what ever problems we may have. when the storm of life is raging  and we cant find our way out just turn to God bring  all your troubles to Him,   He  will see you through.   He may not answer the way we want Him to,  but praise  God for that,  because sometimes we don't know what to ask for.  Just like a parent  with children of  different ages. a five year old may ask for something,  we said no but a ten year old ask for the same thing,  and we said yes with out a thought. God knows what is best for us,  and He give us His best.   He gave us His Son  John 3:16,  For  God so loved the world,  that He gave His only begotten Son, that who so ever believeth in Him  should not perish but have  ever lasting life. God love  us, we  are His children if you are saved you are a child of God.  If you are not saved,  right now you can be save.  Just bow your head and ask  the Lord Jesus Christ to come into your heart and save   you  and make you His child. He will answer your prayer.

God not only save you but he keep you, He never fail,  Christ is closer than a brother, or sister, having lost my mother at on early age,  I can testify that been saved  and  walking with the Lord for many years  is the best thing I ever did.  Christ is my rock. my provider, my  Intercessor.  I call upon Him often, He always answer, I told Him my problems, and He knows what I need and just  how  to help  me.   you can depend  on Him. Jesus the Name I love so well, He gives you a song in your heart.  even when the storm is raging  Jesus can calm the tempest. The Lord Jesus Christ  promise to help us, He said He will  never lever us comfortless  and He kept His word,  He  sent the Holey Spirit  who is our Comforter. Christ is our protector.  He is our guide,   He guide our foot steps  He keeps us from falling.  He give us peace in the middle of the Storm.

our joy is complete in Jesus

The Lord Jesus said to his Disciples,  it is for your good that I go away.  un less I go away the counselor will not come to you,   but if I go away I will send Him to you.   When He come's He will convict the World of guilt, of sin.  and of Righteousness because He was going  to the Father. The lord Jesus came from the Father,  He came into this world, to pay for sin on our behalf.  Now He said,  Father, the time has come,  Glorify your Son,  that your Son may Glorify You.   Christ has Completed the work that the Father gave Him to do.  Christ was obedient to the Father,Un-till the End.   Now Christ is Glorified with  the Glory that He has before the world began.

By Faith We see His Body Broken on the Cross of Shame,  it was a love undeserved. God's Love and mercy shine's through. We realize no one else could Love us like that.   Our Heart's could grow Faint,  as we think  about what the Lord has done for us.We just want to pour out our Heart's before Him,  in thanksgiving and praise.    1 John 3: 2-3 Beloved, now are we children of God;  and it has not yet revealed what we shall be, but we know that  when He is revealed,  we shall be like Him,  for we shall see Him as He is.And everyone who has this Hope  in Him   Purifies  himself, just as he is pure.

Jesus the true light,   He went away,   but He did not leave us to wonder,  he sent us a comforter,    Jesus the Glorify   King,  the Good Shepherd,   our defender,  the true vine,   He is the Great  physician, He Encourages us, He defend and  forgive us of our sin's.Jesus the Great   Intercessor.      He was sent by the Father, to  pay the ultimate price.   He suffered for us,bled and died, for no sin of His own,    He took on Himself our sin.He conquer  death hell and the grave,  And now our Risen savour is In Heaven,   And one day   He will come back  again.   He will take us back to Heaven.   to be with   Himself.  That where He is we  will be all so.

justified by faith we have peace with God

We are justified by faith in God,  through grace. The Lord Jesus Christ  gave His life, that we may be saved. for all have sinned and come short of the  Glory of God.No one can reach God by any other means,  but through His son the Lord Jesus Christ. He died a painful death on the Cross    so we can be free,  -His suffering was great  agony,   even  before  He went to the cross,   They plotted how they would kill Him.  The day by day accusation,    His agony in the garden,   when He prayed, great drops of blood   fell  from Him.     As the weight of our sin weighed heavily on Him.He ask God to take away the cup of wrath,  from Him.but He was thinking of us He said,  not my will,  but thy will be done.Christ went through it all for us He drink the bitter cup, and     leave  it empty for us.  By faith we die with Him.And raised  with Him, to walk,  with Him.   Christ*Demonstrate His Righteousness,   that we though Him might be just.He done it all for us.We just have to accept it by faith. The Christian life is a race,    if you stop in the middle of the race there is no chance of winning.

run with endurance

let us lay aside every weight,   and the sin that so easily be set us. and  let us run with  patience  the race that is set before us.  that   means,  we should run  with   endurance, and  it's  very hard  to  run if you  have  a ton of weight  on your head.  weight will bring you down,   weather,   it's  the weight  of the  world,   or a heavy  load  of  sin.  God can  help you  to get rid  of it.   as  you run the  Christian race,    there  may be time's  when  you  feel  burden down  with things that   might  keep  you from winning  the race.   just stop,  take  a good look at what may be the cause of the problem,   pray  ask God for help. when God answer your prayer, you can   be victorious  and have good success  in your  Christian walk.    Bad habit will drag you down.   so called friend      will drag you down,  you don't have to all way's say yes to unreasonable request.  disapointment  will come but keep on running,   when  you are hunger and  Thurst   after Righteousness Christ  will fill you  and strengthen you.  just  leave the old things  behind  and reach for word to the new.Hebrews 12: 1.

no one can go to the father but through his son Jesus

Jesus said,  I am the way,  the truth,  and the life:  no man  cometh to the father, but through me. John 14:  6,  if  you  want to go to heaven,  there is no other way, you must ask the Lord Jesus Christ to come into your heart and save  you.He is the  door to  heaven.   And  there is only one door. There  is the inside,  and there is the outside.  If you are saved,  you are on the inside,  if you are not save     you are on the outside.  our Sunday  school  song,  ask the  question   on which side are you?   something  to think about  .Jesus. said in his Father's house  are many  Mansion's,  God  made the world,  and it's a beauty  to behold. Over two Thousand  years  ago Jesus went back to Heaven, He said I go to prepare a place for you,  just think,we did nothing to deserve it, and He gave His life for us.He pored out so much love on us all because of God  amazing  grace. He lived,  He died,He rose again. And went back to Heaven. And will one day come again.

He will one day present us to the Father, what a wonderful Savour we have.He is exalted above the Heavens, strength and honour are His.Our loving Father  who is from everlasting to everlasting. The Creator  of  Heaven  and Earth, Whose   Understanding  is Un -searchable   .Will  renew  our strength  from day to day.we will  mount up as the eagle   Our love for  Him  should  be strong,    and our life will  be a blessing  to others  as we seek to live  for Him,  and do His will. we   Will bring  joy and hope to others. We can make a difference   in the life of other's.   By God's grace they will be saved .And change the world one  soul at a time.   Jesus is love  He is waiting  to saved you. why not thrust Him Now.  Tomorrow is not promise to you.  To day if  you here  His  voice do  not harden your heart. it may be your last chance.    think    about it.

Be strong in the Lord.

There are times when we try to be strong,  but without the power of God we are powerless.   And the devil know's that,  and he shows us every thing that he think we will fall for and leave God  out of our lives. But when trouble comes,we lose our joy,  our peace,  and walk around  discouraged,  and sad, blaming God,  and not the fact that we were disobedient.  And tempted to believe that it was  better over there.without God.

There are many in this world who leave God out of there lives,  it may seams that everything goes well with them,   they can do what ever they want good are bad without  a second thought,    But as the song said Tempted and tried,   we are off made to wonder why it should be thous all the day long while there are other's living about us never bothered by there sin's.Then answer came to us that said,    Father alone  knows all about it,  Father alone  He'll understand why.

God know's what is best for us we can depend on him,   to take us through the fire are though the wilderness.    As we give God thanks and praise each day for His goodness,  lets remember He is worthy of our worship and Honor.the holey spirit will  direct our steps  and teach us how to live,  and follow Christ.  his words gives us comfort,  as we study each day and meditate upon  His word,  and seek to live by them the Holey spirit work in our hearts and lives and we are blessed,  and be a blessing to others.

Christ is rejected by the world

There is a song that we sing that goes the Lord is now rejected,  and by the world  His own.   and to day many,  are still rejecting  Him.  God chose to work through one man,Abraham,  to whom He made promises,  which is passed down to his descendants.   for Abraham's sake.  They rejected God,  over and over again.  God in His goodness,  forgave them,  each time they repented.

They  were punished  for there  disobedience,   but God is a merciful  God.   He  will again work with the  people of His first promise,  but now ,God is working with the    whole world,  though  His Son whom He sent  to die  for the whole world.John3:16-17    3: 36,    Now that the  promise  came to the Church through His  Son  the Lord     Jesus   Christ,we can be confident  that our salvation  is secured.  Because it was planed   before the foundation of the world.

God   does not go back on His promise,  He keep  His word.    But sin  must be punished,  some one have to pay for Adams  Transgression His  disobedience     was willful, God said don't do  something   and you do it any way it's wrong  in the same way God   said to Adam don't  eat the fruit,   He ate and He died  spiritually.  And so the whole world   fall    into sin.   Hell was our end. But Christ came and  take away our punishment. Our wonderful God made away for us  to escape hell. Our wonder God,     The light  of the world, Emmanuel God with us  The Ruler of the all Eternity Son of God is He.

Jesus Said No One Comes to Me Except the Father Drew Him

We all like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all. ISAIAH 53, v 6.

Christ Preferred to Angels

Hebrews 1: 1-8

God who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to prophets, v2, hath in these days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things,by whom also He made the world; v3 who is the brightness of Gods glory, and the Express Image of His person, He Up hold all things by the word of His power, when He by Himself purge our sins, He sat down on the right hand of Majesty on high. 4 He was made much better than the Angels, as He hath by Inheritance obtained a more Excellent Name than they.

5For unto which of the Angels said, He at any time, you are my son? [none of them] To the Lord Christ God said] thou art my son this day have I begotten thee,And again, I will be to Him Father, and He shall be to me a Son. 6 And again when He send His first born into the world,He said let all the Angels Worship Him. 7 And of the Angels He said who make His Angels spirits, and his minister a flame of fire. 8 But to His Son He said thy Throne O God, is for ever and ever. A scepter of righteousness is the scepter of thy Kingdom.

The Unchangeable Priest Hood

The High Priest our Lord Jesus Christ says in Hebrews 7 verse 12 that He does not need to offer sacrifices for His own sins, because He is perfect and has no sin. He bore our sin on the cross of Calvary when He offered up Himself as a sacrifice to God for the sin of the whole world. Hebrews 7 verses 24-27 informs us that because He continues forever, He has an unchangeable priesthood. Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him. Since He always lives to make Intercession for us. For such a High Priest was fitting for us. He is Holy, harmless, and undefiled. He is separate from sinners and has become higher then the Heavens. This perfect one does not need t0 offer up sacrifices, first for Himself then for the people, as those high priests had to do daily. For this He did once and for all, when He offered once for all, when He offered up Himself. For the law appointed high priests, men with weakness, to offer the sacrifices. But the word of the oath, which came after the law, appointed the SON of GOD--who has been perfected for EVER. Hebrews 8: 1 states that we have such an High Priest, who is seated at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the Heavens.

But now Christ has obtained a more Excellent ministry in as much as He is also mediator of a better covenant, which was established on better promises (Hebrews 8:6). For if the first covenant had been faultless then there would have been no reason to create a second. Because, finding fault with the first, the Lord says, "Behold the days are coming, when I will make a new covenant, with the house of ISRAEL and JUDAH. This is the covenant that I will make with the House of ISRAEL. After those days, I will put my laws in their minds and write them on their hearts, and I will be their God and they shall be my people. The law was given to the children of Israel by Moses but grace and truth came through the Lord Jesus Christ. The law is like a mirror that will show you what is wrong with your heart, but it cannot fix the problem. Consequently, the priesthood was changed, so it was necessary to change the law as well (Hebrews 7 v. 12).

Nebuchadnezzar Acknowledes God

King Nebuchadnezzar's Dream

I pray that God will extend his mercy to us which He has shown to man in the past, in spite of his arrogance. In Daniel Chapter 4. the Babylonian king states: "I, NEBUCHADNEZZAR, was at rest in my palace; and I saw a dream which made me afraid. The thoughts upon my bed and the visions in my head troubled me.

Therefore, I made a decree to bring in all the wise men of Babylon before me, that they might make known unto me the dream. Then came in the magicians, the astrologers, the Chaldeans, and the soothsayers: and i told the dream before them; but they did not make known unto me the interpretation. But then Daniel came in before me. In Babylon his name was Belteshazar, according to the name of my god. and in him is the spirit of the holy God. I told him the dream saying, 'O BELTESHAZZAR, master of the magicians, because i know that the spirit of the holy God is in thee, and no secret trouble thee, tell me the visions of my dream that i have seen, and the interpretation.

In my visions I saw a tree in the midst of the earth, and the height was great. The tree grew and was strong, and the height reached unto heaven, and the leaves were fair and there was much fruit on it's branches. There was enough for all, and the beasts of the field and the the fowls of heaven dwelled beneath it. In my visions behold, the holy one came down from heaven and He cried in a loud voice,

'Hew down the tree, and cut off his branches, shake off his leaves, and scatter his fruit: let the beasts get away from under it, and the fowls from his branches: Nevertheless leave the stump of the roots in the earth, even with a band of iron and brass, in the tender grass of the field. And let it be wet with the dew of heaven, and let his portion be with the beasts in the grass of the earth. Let his heart be changed from man's and let a beast's heart be given him; and let seven times pass over him.'

Daniel said, 'My lord, the dream be to them that that hate you, and the interpretation to your enemies. It is you O King who has grown and become strong: For your greatness is grown, and reached unto Heaven and your dominion to the end of the earth. This is the interpretation: They shall drive you from men, and your dwelling shall be with the beast of the field, you shall eat grass like the oxen and they shall wet thee with the dew of heaven. Seven times shall pass over you, till you know that the most High rules in the kingdom of Men.' "

At the end of twelve months the King walked in his palace in Babylon. He said, "Is not this great Babylon, that I have built, by the might of my power and for the honor of my majesty?"

In that same hour his dream was fulfilled. A voice from heaven repeated the words in his dream...and the King was driven from among men and he ate grass and his body was wet with dew.

At the end of the days, my reason returned to me and I, Nebuchadnezzar, praised, honored and did extol the God and King of Heaven. All of His works are truth and His ways judgment. Those that walk in pride He is able to humble.

Reaching Others for Christ: Our Walk Should Match Our Talk

I love to read the writings of Paul because he endured a lot of trials and struggles for his dedication to preaching the gospel. In his writings to a younger man named Timothy, he encouraged him. I wish every young man had a Paul in their lives who would support them through life's problems and in their frustrations as they try to reach others for Christ. The result of such a union would be a revival in the churches and a greater bond among men.

Nonetheless God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. Paul wasn't ashamed of the gospel. He was able to proclaim it anywhere that he went because of his inner assurance that God would protect him until the day of Christ. Let us keep our eyes on Jesus rather than on the criticisms and opinions of people who want to keep us from serving the Lord. Let us walk as children of the light. Christ loved us and gave His live for us. We should continually ask him to fill us with his Spirit so that we may experience his holy presence in our lives without restraint. As we walk, work and live through the working of the Spirit, we should never take our eyes off of Jesus. Instead we should continue to depend on him for all things. He is the one who works in us as we seek to do His will. The Lord will guide us so that we are not doing our own thing, because that will not glorify Christ. Doing the works of God for his glory, honor and praise alone will help us fulfill our true purpose on the earth and will allow us to experience his blessing in our lives.

Serve the Lord with Gladness

A wise man will hear and increase learning, and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels: the book of Proverbs Chapter 1 gives wise counsel to young men. But we could all use a little counsel at times, since we tend to forget a lot of things.

Proverbs Chapter 1 verse 10 states "My son if sinners entice you do not consent. If they say 'Come with us let us lie in wait to shed blood; let us lurk secretly for the innocent without cause.' My son do not walk in the way with them, keep your feet from that path. For their feet run to evil.

They offer you the world, but they cant deliver. They mock God and his saints so, cast your lot among us. 'Let us have one purse.' they said. Their net is spread in the sight of the birds. They are greedy of gain; and do not know that God is watching them. They hate knowledge, and do not choose the way of the Lord.

But you my son will keep your heart, with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. There is no love like the love of God. You can bank on it. God has made everything beautiful for us to enjoy. Let us give Him thanks, and praise His name, for He is worthy of our praise.

Be Obedient to God's Will

God protects us day by day, we are safe in His arms. God is our helper in our time of need. As we go through life we will have setbacks, but we know that we can depend upon the Lord. The Spirit of God is with us and He will never leave us nor will He forsake us.

God loves us with an everlasting love. Jesus made us worthy by the shedding of His blood on the cross of Calvary. We were so far away from God that we did not want salvation. However God sent His Son, in St. John 3 v 16: "For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Now we can move beyond just being saved by faith and drinking milk to feeding on the meat of the word.

God's love is real. His grace reaches us wherever we are, and we can be confident that He will give us the strength and the power we need to serve Him. Through Christ we have redemption and are saved by faith through His blood in order to serve Him.

The All-Seeing God

Christians enjoy God's grace every day, we trust God and He saved us. His mercy is enough to reach our deepest, darkest sin. His salvation is free, because Christ paid the price of sin for us. His arms are stretched to receive us when we repent of our sin.

If we have no room in our life for God now and you die, you have no chance of repenting, right now God is calling you. He gave his son for you: when we were His enemy, Christ died for us. He promised to make us his child, and he did.

God is willing to save you, no matter what your position is. We don't have to clean up ourselves. God does a better job: He starts from the inside out. He released us from the bandage of sin.

He gives us joy, peace, and a new heart, new mind, and even our thoughts are different. We are more heavenly minded, we don't choose to hold on to things as we do before. All our earthly possessions belong to God.

We focus our attention on Jesus, and we are so taken up with him as if we are bringing a new baby home. Our new life is precious; Jesus lived in us. He takes care of us and loves us very much.

We are Overcomers through Christ

Our generation is blessed in so many ways. We should be thankful and more understanding, but there are times when we make poor choices. God loves us, His grace is all around us. He loved us so much that He gave His only Son to die for us. He forgave us for all our sins that we can have new life, new hope and grace upon grace. Jesus told us in John 15:17-19 that "These things I command you that you love one another. If the world hates you, you know that it hated me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love its own. But I chose you out of the world therefore the world hates you."

They hated the Lord of glory, the one who gave His life for them. His own people did not receive Him. Even his family questioned His motives. But when the light of the glorious gospel shone in our hearts, it changed our minds and attitude. God gave us a new heart. Now we can be obedient to His command to love and forgive those who have wronged us. Just leave the outcome to God because He knows all things. Ephesians 4: 31-32 says "Let all bitterness, and worth, and anger and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: And be ye kind one to another, tender-hearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven us."

The Great Escape

God made a way of escape for those who have decided to accept salvation. Those who have not been saved, should do so. Christ is your way of escape. He will be your hiding place. If you turn to Him in faith, believe on the finished work of our Lord Jesus Christ. Don't let pride keep you from real life. The world is passing away and the lust of it, but those who do the will of God will abide for ever. In Christ there is real life. John 3 verse 16 tells us that "God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him will not perish but will have ever lasting life. Verse 17 says that "God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world but that the world though Him might be saved. He who does not believe is condemned already, because he does not believed in the only begotten Son of God."

When you ask the Lord Jesus Christ to come into your heart to save you, He will answer your prayers and rescue you from the path to hell. The Bible is the word of God, read it prayerfully and God will open your hearts to its' understanding. The Gospel of Luke and John will tell you about the birth, life and death of Christ in plain language. It's a good place to start reading.

Salvation is a free gift. Good works will not save you, only faith in Christ will save you from a life of eternal torment in the lake of fire. Romans 10 v. 9-10 makes it clear that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead you will be saved. With your heart you believe and with your mouth you confess your sins before God and ask Jesus to forgive your sins and save you. God loves you very much.

Hell

The road to hell is a broad road that is traveled by many people. It does not have to be your final choice. God can save you from this fatal and eternal decision. He made provisions for each of us to escape hell by accepting the fact that the Lord Jesus Christ has shed his blood on your behalf. When He died, it was for your sin.

Even if you didn't do anything wrong, you are still a sinner. Christ shed His blood for you because He loved you and did not want you to spend eternity in the lake of fire. He wants to forgive you for disobeying Him. Hell is a real place (Luke 16 v. 19-36) where both the rich and the poor will be. You (whether you are rich or poor) will recall all the times that you refused to accept the forgiveness that Christ had offered to you during your lifetime (Revelations 20 v. 10-15).

Hell is a terrible place, where no one should be willing to go. We don't have to go there, however because God made a way of escape. When the Lord Jesus Christ gave His live, He paid the debt for our souls. All we have to do is accept the payment that He has already made. Sin came into the world through the first sin committed by Adam and Eve's disobedience in the Garden of Eden and because of sin, death also entered (Romans 5 v. 12).

When you make the choice to become a Christian, your path changes from the broad road to hell to the narrow road to heaven. The Bible describes Hell as the lake of fire, a furnace that burns night and day, a bottomless pit, a place of outer darkness where one cannot rest and will find only eternal and everlasting punishment and torment,. People will be crying for mercy there, but none will be extended at this time because it will be too late. The time for forgiveness will be long gone and weeping and wailing will be the result.

So don't walk into Satan's trap. Make the choice of life - to go to Heaven - by choosing Christ as your Savior. In order to do that, you must believe that Christ died for your sin, that He was buried and raised again by God. His blood has the power to wash all your sin away, forever.

God Will Judge the Living and the Dead

There comes a day when God will judge the living and the dead, so if we are saved we can't shy away from telling others about the love of God. No matter what type of choice we're seeking to make, we should ask God for help. We must continue to serve God with all of our hearts; after all we are His creation. He loves us and we are the only hands and feet that He has on earth. We can do His work, Matthew 18 v. 11. Christ came to seek and to save those who were lost. Christ the lamb who was slain and went back to God will come again to received His saints.

Life is a Challenge

Each day I am encouraged with new hope. We do not have to go around feeling like we have to give up on life just because we are getting older. When you consider what the Lord has saved us from--not only from a life of sin and madness, but from every day hopelessness--we should find new ways to bring the gospel to those who are not saved.

If I can help one person to stop and think about what they are missing, then it's all worthwhile. Life is a challenge; growing older is a challenge. Someone once told me that me it's hard to grow old, try not to get there. I responded, by asking them why should they have all the fun. My experience might be different, so who knows? As long as I can serve my Lord, I am happy. God has provided for us in so many different ways and has improved our choice selections so that we are able to grow old gracefully.

Age has nothing to do with how much He loves us. Growing older is a stepping stone to a brighter future. God gives us inner peace and the ability to forgive and to receive forgiveness. As we grow in Him we should learn to love and serve Him. Each day we get stronger and our faith grows so that we learn to become more forgiving, loving and patient with and to others.

Whenever people hear a good message on love and forgiveness, they seem ready to accept it. Unfortunately this decision is short-lived and we return to our old ways. Everyone is looking for the next person to be the one to forgive, thinking that it just can't be me that's doing the forgiving. Why should I forgive him / her for what he / she did to me?

God loves us all, though. He cares about the feelings of each one of us. Let's put Him first by loving, serving and submitting to His will for our lives.

Believers Are Blessed

Ephesian 1 v 3-14, "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ. According as He has chosen us before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: Having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself according to the good pleasure of His will, to the praise and glory of his grace.

Our election is sure and guaranteed by God through the Lord Jesus Christ our Savior, who adopted us before the foundation of the world - what a mighty God we serve. That in the dispensation of the fullness of times he might gather in one all things in Christ...which are currently on the earth. In him also we have obtained grace according to the counsel of his will.

We trusted in Christ by his mercy and He saved us. When we hear the word of truth, the gospel of salvation in which we also having believed are sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, he ensures our inheritance.

Saved by Grace through Christ

We who were dead in trespasses and sin are made alive in Christ. Our great God has loved us with an ever-lasting love. In mercy He saved us, by His grace, through Christ. When Christ died we died with him. Our sins, though many, were nailed to the cross with Him. God's love for us is so great that while we were dead, He made us alive in Christ.

By God's grace we are saved through faith in Christ so that there is nothing we could have done that could save us. No good works could save us. There's nothing to boast about since all our good works are like dirty rags - filthy before God. We are saved to do good works, but we are not saved by good works. Now we can be of one spirit, having built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets of Jesus Christ himself, who is the chief corner stone. We can grow up in him a holy temple, a dwelling place of God in the spirit.

How can a Young Man Cleanse His Ways?

Psalm 119 verse 9 says "How can a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed according to His word." As we read the scriptures and ask ourselves the same question while reflecting on the answer, we often try to do good. However, we should ensure that it's not just done for others to see. Ephesians 6 verse 6 makes it clear that good works shouldn't be done with eye-service to please others, but as bond servants of Christ who are doing the will of God. Not in our own strength but by the power of God.

Ephesians 6 verse 11 says to put on the whole armor of God that we may be able to withstand the wiles of the devil. We cannot stand alone, we need Christ's guidance, strength and power. Ephesians 6 verse 16 states that "Above all taking the shield of faith, which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one." Ephesians 6 verse 17 -18 warns us to "Take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit which is the word of God: praying always with all prayer and supplication for all the saints."

Listen to the word of GOD, read and digest it. Don't harden your hearts against God in a breath that could be your last. God holds each breath you take, so trust in Him and obey His commands. Don't be stiff-necked because Jesus loves you. If you aren't saved, ask the Lord Jesus Christ to come into your hearts and save you now. That's the only real prayer that an unsaved person can give that God will gladly answer. He is ready, willing and able to save you.

The Importance of Self Image

A person's self worth is extremely important. It does not matter how others see us. What God thinks of a person is much more important, however, and He informs us that we are valuable. Taking the time to obsess over the opinions of others, wastes precious moments that God could use to further his work.

If you did something wrong, ask for God's forgiveness. His love for you surpasses the love of any other person on Earth. He sent His Son to die for your sins which would have kept you from experiencing the joys of Heaven. There is no need for guilt and shame because the blood of Jesus washed all of that away.

If you aren't saved, just ask the Lord Jesus to come into your heart and save you. First John Chapter 1 verse 9 says that if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, then God will save you from eternal death in hell by His grace and because of your faith. You can rely on Him to save you. The only prayer that God will hear from the sinner is when that person asks Jesus, God's son, to come into his or her life. Humble yourself before God because you really don't want God to humble you. It will be a much more painful experience. Try to live one day at a time. Ask for help whenever you need it. Help others, because it will leave a good feeling in your heart. Be faithful and be fruitful. When you become a believer don't pile sin upon sin. Ask God to forgive you each day, hour or minute that you make a mistake or intentionally do the wrong thing. Leaving sins unforgiven as a believer, can leave your prayers unanswered.

The Lord Jesus said, "I will never leave you comfortless." However, he has returned to heaven. In his place though, He has sent the Holy Spirit to stay in the hearts of those who have been saved. Before Jesus came to Earth, the Spirit would come upon people and then leave when His work is done. After Jesus died, paying paid for our sins with His death on the cross, we were saved eternally. The Holy Spirit then enters our hearts to teach us how to walk spiritually, about our faith and about all things.

Our relationship with God is important but our behavior towards others is equally vital. We should be responsible in the way that we conduct ourselves. Whenever we let our emotions out the wrong way, it can be detrimental to our relationships with other people. No one can really make you lose your cool. If you keep giving others a piece of your mind, soon you will have nothing left. We can't live for ourselves alone, because God created us to be social beings. All of us are human beings and none of us are perfect. We are still under construction.

I am looking forward to that day when I shall see my Savior. What a joy that will be, when my Savior I see. I am lost in wonder when I think about heaven. Just think of the many ways that God has blessed us throughout our lives here on earth! Now imagine living in heaven with him eternally. Heaven will be a marvelous place where we will experience God's blessings daily...without the constant separation that sin brings. Jesus, the one who paid our ticket to heaven, will also be there as well.

So don't build a wall around yourself, construct a bridge in order to give others a path to your heart. If you are saved Christ will protect you from life's dangers. Sometimes it is not possible to get along with everyone, God knows. Still, as much as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone with the guidance and support of Jesus and the Holy Spirit.

The Only Way to God

Christ is the only way to God. He said himself that "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No (one) comes to me unless the Father draws Him."

As we seek to walk with Jesus, let's bring hope and joy to others, both sinners and saints. We live in a world in which people have little feelings or compassion for the next person. Consequently, we go about our business each day saying and doing things that might offend or even destroy the other person--all without a second thought. It might just do us a world of good, however, if each of us would try a little harder to see that our words and actions do not bring so much pain or harm to others. Words may destroy a soul for whom Christ died.

In order to prevent such a tragic result, ask God to keep your words soft and sweet rather than harsh and thoughtless. God may bless us all for it. He loves each one of us no matter what our I.Q. so let's pray that God will change our hearst and grant forgiveness to the offender and heal the offended person.

Let's bring comfort to others and joy to God's heart. Glory to God. God be praised.

Our Redeeming Savior

Christ our Redeeming Savior came to earth for one special purpose--to save the human race from their miserable situation. Since Adam's sin, we have been getting further and further away from God. But Jesus said, "The one who comes to me, I will by no means cast out." Other people may reject you, but Jesus stated that whoever believed in him would not perish but have everlasting life.

God's love for you knows no bounds and it is everlasting...but if you aren't saved right now ask God to forgive you of your sin and the Holy Spirit will cleanse you from all sin. You will then be accepted into the body of Christ as a new person, be on your way to heaven and can enjoy real fellowship with God and his people. May the Father of Glory, the God of our Lord Jesus Christ give you peace and wisdom as you seek to serve him (Galatians 5 v. 19-26).

We can now walk in the Spirit and seek to inherit the kingdom of God. Furthermore we can now bear the fruit of the spirit which is love, joy, peace, long suffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control. God loves you just the way that you are. His love for you, however, is too much to let you remain the same way that you joined his spiritual family. His desire is that you grow, mature and be the best that you can be. Just leave it all to him and he will take care of your transformation.

We Shall Overcome

We are overcomers. God has already changed our direction. When God saved you, He made you a new person. Not only does He put us in Christ, He also put Christ in us. The result is a changed attitude, a willingness to change our actions, and a transformed view of the world that must conform to God's plan for our lives. Because Christ has been placed inside of us, He lets us know when we are in the will of God.

God gives us the power we need to do what He wants us to do. If you aren't saved, just ask Him right now to come into your heart and save you. Seek God and have faith. Pray and God, in His mercy, will save you and give you the power and strength to overcome any problems you may encounter in the future.

If you are already saved, you have already been accepted by God. The way He sees us is very important which is why the blood of Jesus is required. Don't worry about the things that you gave over to the Lord. Change the direction of your thoughts. When we are anxious, it's easy to make mistakes. Allow God to work out His will in your life (Phillipians 4 v. 14-18).

Since God has accepted you, you don't need to waste all that time seeking the approval of others. Most people won't approve of what God has planned for your life anyway. So if you need advice, seek out good Christian counsel as opposed to secular counselors who will most likely lead you astray. In order to take the right course of action, pray to God for wisdom. The Lord never makes a mistake. Follow the direction of Christ who lives in your heart. You will never get too old because God keeps you refreshed and makes everything new for His children to enjoy each morning. Learn something new as often as you can. Volunteer if you have some spare time. Move forward with a strong, active faith. Only God can eliminate the prejudices, though He gives us enough intuition to recognize them. Although we don't know what our future will hold, our Lord can see it all. He knows our joys and our fears, so rest assured it is His good will to guard you and lead your feet onto a safe path.

Therefore, don't be dismayed when life's problems come your way. Draw near to God and He'll chase the clouds away. God has our eternal good in mind. When we pray and ask for something and He says no, rest assured He has our eternal welfare in mind and His blessings are endless.

Christ's Resurrection

Christ arose, hallelujah!

After Jesus' resurrection he appeared in another form to two of his disciples on the Emmaus Road--a village a good distance away from Jerusalem (Luke 24 v. 13). According to a corresponding chapter, Mark 16 verse 12, they did not recognize him. But as they spoke with him, they were blessed by the things that He said. Jesus patiently reminded them of portions in the Scriptures that stated that Christ would suffer before entering into His glory.

After He stopped to eat with them, He blessed the bread and broke it. In that instant, the disciples' eyes were opened and they recognized Jesus. However He vanished from out of their sight.

Full of joy, these disciples rushed back to Jerusalem to inform the eleven other disciples. Consequently they were all together in one room when the Lord appeared to them again saying, "Peace be unto you." Stunned and afraid, the group believed that he was a spirit. In order to quiet their fears, Jesus showed them the nailprints in His hands and His feet. "A spirit does not have flesh and bones as you can see that I have," Jesus said. He also ate broiled fish and honeycomb to offer further proof that he was a living being. The Lord then reminded them of statements he had made prior to his crucifixion. But He hadn't come to remain with them forever, teaching and preaching, for the scriptures and prophecies (including Moses and the prophets) that foretold of His sacrifice for our sins had to be fulfilled. The Christ was to suffer and die, then rise from the dead on the third day in order to secure our future, show us our need for repentance and for the remission of our sins. All this was to be preached among all the nations in the Christ's name after He had passed through all these things.

Jesus then led them to Bethany and blessed them. As His blessing was still ringing in their ears, He was carried up into heaven before their eyes. The group of rejoicing disciples then worshipped him and returned to Jerusalem, where they praised and worshipped God and his Son daily in the temple.

Jesus said in John 12 v. 26, "If any man would serve me, let him follow me, and where I am there he will be also."

Luke Chapter 24 v. 13, 26, 30, 31, 33, 36, 39, 46, 47, 51

The Crucifiction of Christ

Jesus came wearing the Crown of thorns and a purple robe. Pilate said, "Behold the man." The Chief Priests and officers saw Him and they cried loudly, "Crucify Him, crucify Him." Pilate answered, "I have found no fault in Him." The Jews snapped, "We have a law, and by our law He ought to die...because He has made himself the Son of God."

The Lord Jesus is the Son of God. He came into this world to die for our sin and pay the price that we should have paid. The Lord himself said that the Son of Man would be betrayed and that they would condemn Him to death. They would mock Him, scourge Him and crucify Him, but on the third day He would rise again.

To some the Savior's death on the cross is seen as a crushing defeat. To those of us who believe, however, His death is viewed as a payment for our sin. Our acceptance of His free gift covers our sin debt, removes us from the path to Hell and places us on the road to Heaven. His death, burial and resurrection is the reason for our salvation. This gift is offered to anyone who is willing to believe, place their faith in his sacrifice and call upon His name.

The Law and The Promise

Christ redeemed us from the curse of the Law by becoming a curse for us. In addition he redeemed us in order that the blessing placed on Abraham and Israel will now be passed on to us. When we place our faith in the Lord Jesus by believing that He took our place on the cross of Calvary and paid the penalty for our sins, we are made perfect in God's sight as if we had kept the entire Law.

God in his grace gave the Law to Abraham because our continual transgressions (sins) grieved the Lord, who cannot look upon it without exacting punishment. The Law was supposed to last only until the promised Seed of Abraham--Jesus Christ was come. Through faith, all who placed their belief in him will be justified as if they kept the entire Law. So we are no longer under the Law. Through faith in God's grace we are saved by believing in the perfect sacrifice of Jesus Christ who kept the entire Law. In Christ we become one and heirs according to God's promise to Abraham.

Galatians 4 v. 4-6 states that when the time was fully come, God sent His Son...born of a woman, born under the Law, to redeem those who were under the Law. Therefore we can receive the full rights of a son or daughter, and God looks at us as if we kept the entire Law...as if we never sinned. God sent the spirit of His Son into our hearts and now we are the children of the King and joint heirs of God's promise to Abraham.

The Law was added because of our sin and disobedience. Christ died after keeping the entire Law--something that God commanded us to do, but we were unable to do. Christ paid the full price to save the world from Hell and now all we have to do is accept what was done and believe in our hearts that Christ did it all for us. Then, by God's grace, we are saved through faith alone...no works or anything else is required. Nothing that we can do will make us acceptable since God refers to our "good works" as "filthy rags." Spiritually we were dead, but after we place our faith in Jesus, we are made alive. Through faith we are justified and we are no longer under the Law, we are in Christ and Christ in us.

Romans Chapter 6: Dead to sin, alive with Christ

When someone asks how the dead will be raised and what kind of body we will be getting, they should be informed that Christ has explained in His Word that God will give us a new body. Human beings have a very different type of body from the animals, fish, birds, and plants. The human body is the only body that will live on eternally, while the other bodies will not.

When Jesus Christ returns to take us to heaven, we will receive a new body. Whether we are alive at the time of his coming or dead, we will both receive a similar type of body.

In Christ we are all made alive. What we sow doesn't come to life unless it dies. Just as a seed of wheat or corn dies in order to become a fruitful plant. The body that is sown is perishable but when it is raised it will never perish. When this new body comes to life it will be an eternal, spiritual body.

However we shall not all sleep...or die. But we shall all still be changed in the twinkling of an eye--so fast that a human blinking will miss it. At the sound of the last trumpet, the dead will be raised and we will all enter heaven changed.

Thanks be to God. He gives us the victory.

The Rapture

The Rapture of the believers is when Christ himself will descend from heaven in a flash. He will come so fast that when any human witnessing the event blinks his or her eyes, it will be over. The believers that are alive at that time will experience a dramatic change of their body. So, too, will the ones who are dead. In addition, the bodies of the dead will be resurrected...no matter what has happened to it at the time of death or afterwards. Then both groups of people--the dead and those who are alive--will be lifted into the air and whisked into heaven...into the presence of the Tri-un God.

This will happen in the future, and only God knows when this marvelous event will occur. It is because we will see our loved ones again, that we do not need to grieve for those who have died before us. Unlike the unbelievers who lose relatives, friends and family members to eternal death, we will see our relatives again...if both you and the deceased individual has put their trust and faith in God. The result is two born again Christians who will be looking forward to meeting again in the future.

The Bible states that "The Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the Archangel, and with the Trump of God, and the dead in Christ shall rise first. Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds." Then we shall be with the Lord, the other saints and the billions of angels for the rest of eternity.

Faith in God: Hope for the Future

You may ask how a loving God could send anyone to Hell. But Jesus will not be the one who sends you toward this fate. This path will be yours when you stubbornly refuse to believe what the Bible says.

Jesus came seeking to save those who were lost. Adam and Eve's sin in the Garden of Eden resulted in all of their descendants entering this world with a sinful nature. The only way to get rid of this nature is to get a new nature which only Jesus Christ can give.

The way of escape has already been planned and is now being offered to us fully wrapped under the title of "salvation." This free gift can be accepted at any time since Christ never ceases to try to call you away from your hopeless struggles to keep your head above the drowning waters of life. Turn your life over to him and even if your ship turns over, you'll still be able to smile at the storm.

Jesus will not hesitate to be your guide. He'll do more than provide for your needs. The God in heaven is a loving Father to whom all humans can come. He's a God that you can trust to help you through times of despair, loneliness and feelings of failure. As a matter of fact, He died as the perfect sacrifice in order that the penalty for your sin would be paid. Without this great sacrifice, it would've been impossible for us to face a holy God. And once we've chosen to be saved, the Holy Spirit enters our hearts in order to help us live the Christian life.

Growing in Christ

God desires for us to grow, to become like Christ, to be strong, to be the light. Growing takes time, but if we are committed to change, through prayer and dedication we can do it. You can't try to live the Christian life; you will fail every time. In our own strength, our righteousnesses are like a filthy rag (Isaiah 64:6). Believers are raised up in Christ, and cannot be mature without communicating with God through prayer and reading His Word. God will choose a method for us to be strengthened and grow in our faith in His Word, thereby conforming us to the image of His son. We must be willing to submit to this process.

Testing & Temptation

According to James, who is pinpointed by Bible scholars as having been the brother of the Lord Jesus Christ, Believers are blessed if we endure temptation (James 1:12; see also 1 Peter 1:6-7 and Psalm 119:71). The issue is not will we be tempted, but rather will we yield to the temptation when it does happen. The Bible tells us that even Jesus was tempted (Matthew 4:1-11), though He was perfect. Jesus's reaction to temptation serves as an example to Believers in how we should behave when faced with temptation. If we know what is right but choose not to do it, we are committing a sin. If we lack the wisdom to know what is right, then we must ask God for guidance. Each time we choose to do the wrong thing, our sin brings us further and further away from God. Conversely, each time our faith in Christ is tested and we withstand the test, our faith grows stronger until ultimately, we will become mature and complete in our faith (James 1:2-4) and our final reward from God will be eternal life through Him.

James's words recall the trials of the tribes of Israel (Ezekiel 20:4-40). God brought them out of Egypt and vowed that if they followed him, He would lead them into the Promised Land. However, the tribes sinned against God repeatedly, turning their backs on Him in favor of worshipping false idols, and God caused them to wander in the wilderness for forty years until those twenty and older died out. God allowed them to enter the Promised Land (Numbers 14:22-24).

The lesson of the saga of the trials and tribulations, tragedies and triumphs of Israel is clear: God punishes those who sin repeatedly against Him, but if we follow Him fully, we will be richly blessed. As Believers in Christ, we must be rigid and singular in our adherence to God's word in order that the temptations of this world will not sway us away from Him.
