King of Kings and Lord of Lords

Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path (Psalm 119 v. 105).  Christ the true light that lighteth the heart of everyone:  The Lord is merciful and gracious, long suffering and abounding in goodness.  God is love, patient and kind.  He is righteous in judgment.  Grace and truth came from the Lord Jesus Christ whose glory fills the sky.  Christ came to earth to save us not only from our past sin, but also from the sins that we commit daily.

He wants His children to be conformed to his goodness and to have a Christ-like attitude.  By the power of Christ were the foundations of the Earth laid.  When He formed the world, He had us in mind.  God's Word should linger like a fragrance in our hearts, so much so that we enjoy every moment of the time that we spend studying His word.  God is honored when we make spending time with Him a priority and our chief delight.

So as we run the race that is set before us, let us look unto Jesus our King of Kings, our Lord of Lords and our Chief Shepherd.
