The Epistle of John was written to Christians, who faced certain situation, in the first Century: John sought to encourage the Members;to live the kind of live, consistent with fellowship with God and His Son. It deals with such themes as Righteousness, the power Love, the result of Love, and the assurance of Salvation, faith, and Knowledge. In John 1: 2, The apostle John want his readers to know that, the life of Christ was Manifested; and they were witness. He show’s that Eternal life was from the Father, and was Manifested unto us. He said the Son of God is come and hath given us understanding, that we may know Him, that is truth; and we are in Him.
That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with His Son Jesus Christ, which is the true God. John 17: 3, And this is eternal life that they might know Him the only true God and Jesus Christ which He hath sent] into the World to give His life as payment for sin.He that hath the Son of God, hath life; And he that hath not the Son of God, hath not life. all these are written, that we would believe on the Name of the Son of God. It’s plainly written, no one can go to Heaven, without Christ.
Eternal life was promise to those who know, and in faith believe, that Christ was manifested to take away the sin of the whole World. In Christ there is no sin. All our Sin was laid upon Him; God who knew them laid them on Him,and believing we are free. If you confess your sin, He is faithful and just to forgive you of your sin, and cleanse you from all unrighteousness’ Through the Cross, The Son of God brought unity and harmony to the life of believers, who surrender there lives to the holy Spirit. who made it possible for all who choose Christ to live with Him for ever. As undeserving sinners; we obtain mercy through Jesus Christ our Lord.
