John 16:1- These things I have spoken; That you, Should not be made to Stumble,Or be Offended, about what you have heard. They will put you out of the Synagogues, and even kill Some of you. they will do these things, because they do not know God. The disciples were sad, There hearts was so broken. The thought of there Master leaving, there only thought was, He’s leaving. They did not even ask the Lord where He was going. But Jesus wanted them to be prepared; And to know that even though He was leaving physically, They still could depend on Him.As the branches draw its life from the vine, So the Christians draw there life giving Substances from Christ; by abiding in Him.
Jesus said to His disciples, Because I said these things to you, Sorrow has filled your hearts. But it is for your benefit that I go away: If I do not go away, The Helper will not come; But if I go away I will Send Him to you. When He comes He will reproof the World of Sin, because they do not believe in Christ. and of Righteousness, because I go to my Father. Of Judgment because the prince of this World is Judged. Jesus want His disciples to conduct them self like Soldiers, Men of Courage. Jesus do not want His Children to be afraid of the unknown, and be weary and discouraged, because they will be easily led astray from the right path,
Hebrews 12:3, Consider Him [Christ] That He has endured such contradiction of sinners, against Himself lest you become weary and faint in your mind. Christ knew about all the hostility, that you are going through, and He want you to trust Him. He was a perfect model of faith, He looked beyond His immediate, painful circumstances and knew that His sacrifices would bring life to others. These things I have spoken unto you, that in Me ye might have peace. In the World ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have over come the World
