After the great flood in Genesis 7: 8:9: God made a covenant with Noah,
Genesis 9:1, And God Blessed Noah, and his sons, and said unto them,Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth. 8, And God Spake unto Noah, and to his sons with him, saying, I will establish my covenant with you: neither shall all flesh be cut off any more by the waters of a flood; neither shall there any more be a flood to destroy the earth. 16, And the bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth. From the three sons of Noah, were the whole earth populated.
Geneses 11:1-4 And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech. And as they journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar; and they dwelt there. then they said one to another, come let us make bricks and bake them thoroughly. They had brick for stone, asphalt,for mortar. And they said, let us build ourselves a city, and a tower whose top is in the heavens; let us make a name for ourselves, less we be scattered abroad over the face of the earth.[ This city would be called Babel as a monument of there own greatness.
Genesis 11: 5- 8, And the Lord came down to see the city and the tower, which the Children of Men build. And the Lord said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do. Let us go down, there and confound there language, that they may not understand one a nother's speech. So the Lord scattered them abroad from thence upon the earth:[ God want Man to know that He is in charge; and we are responsible for our actions.
