Jehu had a Zeal, to work for God, but lack complete Obedience
2 Kings 1o: 16 And he said, Come with me, and see my zeal for the Lord. So they ride in his chariot. Now therefore call unto me all the prophets of Baal all his servants, and all his priests; for I have a
great sacrifice to do to Baal. But Jehu did it in subtilty, that he might destroy the worshipers of Baal. And he burn and broke down the image of the house of Baal. And he destroyed Baal out of Israel.
But his heart was not fully turn to God. And he took no heed to walk with the Lord, with his whole heart: for he deported not from the sins of Jeroboam, Hosea 1: 4-5, God said, I will avenge the Blood of Jezreel upon the house of Jehu, and will cause to cease the Kingdom.[ God desire is to have His Children walk with Him in Obedience. Partial obedience is disobedience.
Jehu opposed practise that were dishonoring to God and rely only on his Victory that is seen by others, but God is looking behind the seen,at his heart. As Christians we do not have to avenge Evil. Just leave it in God's hand. 1Corinthians 15:57, Say, But thanks be to God, which gives us the Victory; through our Lord Jesus Christ.
