Luke 1:26-32,In the six month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, name Nazareth. To a virgin espoused to a man, whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin's name was Mary. The angel said, Greetings, you who are highly favored! the Lord is with you .Mary was greatly troubled at his words, and wondered what this kind of greetings might mean. But the angel said to her, Do not be afraid Mary, you have found favor with God. you will be with Child and give birth to a Son, and you are to give Him the name Jesus. He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord will give Him the throne of His father David.
34-35, How will this be," Mary asked the angel, since I am a virgin? The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will over shadow you, so the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God. 37-38, With God nothing shall be impossible. Mary said behold the hand made of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word. 39- 41 And Mary arose and went with hast, into the city of Juda; to the house of Zacharias, and saluted Elisabeth. When Elisabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and Elisabeth was filled with the Holy Ghost: and said, Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the child you will bear.
Matthew 1:18b When as His mother Mary was pledge to be married to Joseph, but before they came to gather, she was found to be with child through the Holy Spirit. Because Joseph her husband was a righteous man and did not want to expose her to public disgrace, he had in mind to divorce her quietly. But after he had considered this, an angel appeared to him in a dream and said, Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. She will give birth to a Son. And you are to give Him the name Jesus, because He will save His people from their sins. All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said, The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a Son, and they will call His name Immanuel.
