God promised that Christ would be raised up from the line of David. Luke 1:32-33, He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Highest; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David. And He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and His kingdom there will be no end.
Isaiah 9:6-7, And He will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace. of the increase of His government and peace there will be no end. He will reign on the David's throne. And over His kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and for ever.] Jesus our redeemer and Savior, The creator of all things, is in control.
