Luke 1:5-19, There was in the days of Herod king of Judea, a priest named Zechariah. who belonged to the priestly division of Abijah; his wife Elizabeth was the descendant of Aaron. They were righteous before God, walking in the commandments and ordinance of the Lord. But they had no Children, and Elizabeth was well up in years, Zechariah was chosen by lot according to t custom of the priesthood to go into the temple of the Lord and burn incense, when the time came. the Assemble of worshipers were praying outside, Then an angel of the Lord appeared to Zechariah, he was troubled and fear fell upon him. the angel standing on the right side of the altar of incense, said to Zechariah do not be afraid, Zechariah, your prayer is heard; your wife Elizabeth will bear a son, and you shall call his name John. Zechariah ask, how can I be sure of this seen that I am old man my wife is old also? The angel said, I am Gabriel who stand in the presence of God, and was sent to speak to you and bring glad tidings. And now you will be silent and not able to speak until the day these things take place because you did not believe.
Luke 1:21-23, And the people waited for Zechariah, and wonder why he stayed so long in the temple, when he came out he could not speak to them. They realize that he had a vision in the temple, he make signs to them when he came out but he could speak. Elizabeth conceived and hid herself five months, 1:57-59,when it was time for Elizabeth to give birth, her neighbors and relatives heard that the Lord had shown her great mercy, and they shared her joy. When the eight day came to circumcise the child, they wanted to called him after the name of his father; his mother said, no his name is John. So they made signs to his father, what he wanted to name the baby, he ask for a writing tablet, and he wrote saying, his name is John. Immediately his mouth was opened and his loosed, and he spoke, praising God. then fear came on all who dwell around them and all the sayings were discussed throughout all the Country of Judea. those who heard them kept them in there hearts, saying what kind of child will this be? and the hand of the Lord was with him.
