Jesus tthe good Shepherd, who knows His sheep

John 10:1-19 Verily, verily, I say unto you,  He who does not enter the sheepfold by the door, but climbs up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber. But he who enters by the door is the  Shepherd of the sheep. To him the door keeper opens, and the sheep hear his voice; and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. And when he brings out his own sheep, he goes before them;  and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice, the sheep would not follow a stranger, they would run away, because they do not recognize the voice of stranger. Jesus used this illustration but the people did not understand, because He spoke to them in parable. Then Jesus said to them, I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.

Jesus said, I AM the good shepherd: the good shepherd gives His life for the sheep.  As the Father knows ME, [Jesus said], even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep. And Other sheep I have which is not of this fold; them I must bring, and they will hear my voice; and there will be one flock and one shepherd. Therefore my Father loves ME, Because I lay down My life that I may take it again. No one takes it from Me but I lay it down of Myself. I have power to lay it down and power to take it again.This command I have received of my Father. Then there was division among the people because of what Jesus said, [Jesus the great Shepherd of the sheep, knows all that are His, and go before them and guards them. The sheep of Christ will observe their Shepherd, and be cautious of those who will try to draw them away from the fold, and isolate the believers. and make them useless to the work. God is watching, and will not hold His anger forever.

John 10:24-29, How long do you keep us in doubt? If you are the Christ, tell us plainly." Jesus answered, I told you and you did not believe. The works that I do in My Father's Name they bear witness of Me. But you did not believe, because you are not My sheep. My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man snatch them out of My hand. My Father, which gave them to Me is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of my father's hand. I and My Father are One. [ Those who hear and believe Christ words followed Him, and none of them should perish. Christ will always make away for His Children; When we know Christ by faith, we can read His word, and believed that He is who He said He is. Jesus the Son of God, the Shepherd of the Sheep. The faithful Shepherd, The great Shepherd of the sheep; The true Shepherd, The Light of the world.  Savor of mankind.                    

An adulteress woman faces Jesus the light of theworld

John 8:1-11, Jesus went unto the mount of the olives, and came again into the Temple; all the people came to Him and He taught them. Then the Scribes, and Pharisees brought a woman to Him [Jesus] She was taken in adultery. The law of Moses Commanded us to stone such woman. Now what do you say? They try to trap Jesus, because they want to accused Him. But Jesus bent down and wrote on the ground with His fingers, as though He did not hear them. So when they continued asking Him, He raised  Himself up" and said to them, He who is without sin among you, let him throw a stone at her first. And again He stooped down and wrote on the ground. Then those who heard it, being convicted by their conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the oldest to the youngest. When Jesus raised Himself up and saw the woman was left alone, He said to the woman, where are your accusers? Hath no Man Condemn you? She said, no man Lord. Jesus said neither do I condemn you, go and sin no more. [ Jesus did not found fault with the law, are excused the woman's guilt; The Pharisees were Judging and condemning others, while they them self were doing the same thing. Christ show the Pharisees their sin, and show the woman mercy. But before sending her away, Jesus Caution her, go and sin no more. He saved her life and show that He was also able to saved her soul. Jesus came into  the world to saved sinners, and bring them to repentance. not to condemned.]

John 8:12- Jesus said I am the Light of the world: he that follow Me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. The Pharisees said to Him, you bear witness of yourself; your witness is not true" Jesus said though I bear witness of myself yet my witness is true, for I know where I came from and where I am going. You judge according to the flesh; I judge no one. And yet if I judge, my Judgement is true. For I am not alone, but I am with the Father who sent Me. Then they said to Him where is your Father?" Jesus said to them, you neither known Me are My Father: if you had known me you would have known My Father also. 23,Ye are from beneath I AM from Above: ye are from this world. I AM not from this world. 28, Then Jesus said to them. When ye have Lifted up the Son of Man, then shall ye know that I AM HE, and that I do nothing of myself; but as My Father hath taught ME, I speak these things. And He that sent ME is with ME: The Father hath not leave me alone. For I do always the things that please Him.[ Jesus the Light of the  world, and the life of men, One with the Father, Who always did that which please the Father.                  

Jesus teached in the Temple, The people were amazed

John 7:2-13,When the feast of Tabernacle was near. His [Jesus] Brothers said to Him, You ought to go up to Judea, if you do these things, show yourself to the world. Jesus said to them, My time has not yet come, but your time is always ready. The world cannot hate you, but it hates me because I testify of it, that its work are evil. My time is not fully come. So He remand in Galilee. But when His Brothers had left for the feast, then He also went up not openly but in secret. There was much complaining among the people concerning Him some said He is a good Man, Others said, No He deceived the People. Half way through the feast, Jesus went up to the Temple and began to teach.  The People were amazed and said, How did this Man get such learning without having studied. But no one said any thing publicly.

John 7:16, Jesus answered, My teaching is not my own. It comes from Him who sent Me. If any one choose to do God's will he will find out weather I speak on My own. He who works for the honor of the one who sent him is a Man of truth. 25. At that point some of the people began to asked, Is not this the Man they are trying to kill? Hear He is, speaking publicly, and they are not saying a word to Him. Do the rulers know indeed that this is the Christ?. But we know where this man is from; when the Christ comes no one will know where He is from." Then Jesus still teaching in the Temple, cried out. Yes you know Me, and where I am from. I am not here on my own, but He who sent Me is true. You do not know Him, but I know Him because I am from Him and He sent me. At this they tried to seize Him. But no one laid a hand on Him, because His time had not yet come. Still many in the crowd put their faith in Him. 

John 7:32, The Pharisees heard the crowd whispering such things about Him. Then the Chief Priest and Pharisees sent Temple guards to arrest Him. Jesus said, I am with you for only a short time, and then I go to the one who sent me. 37b, Jesus said with a loud voice If any one is thirsty let him come to me and drink. 45, The Temple guards went back to the Chief priests and Pharisees, who asked them. "Why they did not bring Him in?" No one ever Spoke the way this man does," said the guard. You mean He has deceived you also? Have any of the rulers or the Pharisees believed in Him? 50, No! But this people who does not know the law are cursed. Nicodemus who had gone to Jesus earlier and who was one of their own member, asked, Does our Law condemn anyone without first hearing Him to find out what He is doing? They reply are you from Galilee, too? Look and you will find out that a prophet does not come out of Galilee."[ He is not Just a Prophet ] Christ alone  can give Salvation by the forgiveness of Sins, and this alone brings Comfort, Joy and peace to the heart of man.]                 

   

Jesus Christ as God final Prophet, and the bread of life

John 6:2-13, A great crowd of  of people followed Him [Jesus] because they saw His miracles which He did on them that were diseased. And Jesus went up into the mountain, and sat there with with His disciples. And the Passover Feast was near. When Jesus looked and saw a great crowed coming, He said to Phillip, "Where shall we buy bread for these people to eat? Phillip said to Him, "Eight months wages would not buy enough bread for each to have a bite! Another of His disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter's brother said, There is a lad here with five small barley loaves and two small fish, Jesus said, Have the People sit down. There was much grass there. and the men sat down in number of about five thousand. Jesus then took the loafs and the two fish, when He had given thanks, He distributed to the disciples, and the disciples to the people. When they were filled, He said to His disciples gather all the fragment that remain, when it was over twelve baskets remain.

John 6:14- When those men saw the miracle that, Jesus did they said, this is of a truth that prophet that should come into the world. Jesus knew that they intended to make Him king by force, went by Himself into the mountain.[They remember the promise that God made in Deuteronomy 18:15,18-19, God's promise to send a Prophet who would say everything that God commanded Him. It was full filled in Jesus] 18:15, The Lord your God will rise up for you a prophet like me [Moses] from your own brothers]. John 6:18, A strong wind was blowing and the water grew rough. When they had rowed three or three and a half miles, they saw Jesus approaching the boat, walking on the water and they were terrified.But He said to them It is I don't be afraid, then they were willing to take Him into the boat, and immediately the boat reach the shore where they were going.             
 
John 6:28, Then they ask Him [Jesus] what must we do to do the works God requires? Jesus said the work of God is this: to believe in the one He has sent" so they ask what sign will you give that we may see it and believe you? our forefathers ate the manna in the desert; as it is written: It is not Moses who gave you the bread from heaven, but my Father, who gave you the true bread for the bread of God is He who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world."Sir" from now on give us this bread. Jesus said I am the bread life. He who comes to Me will never hungry, and he who believes in Me will  never be thirsty.But as I told you, you have seen Me and still you do not believe. All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and whoever comes to Me I will never drive away. For I came down from heaven not to do my will but the will of the Father who sent Me. My Father's will is that every one who looks to the Son and believes in Him shall have eternal life. And I will raised Him up on the last day.            

Jesus heals the man who was lying by the pool for thirty eight years

 John 5:2-14: Now there is at the pool called Bethesda a great number of disabled people. blind lame and paralyzed, waiting for the moving of the water. For an angel went down at a certain time into the pool and stirred up the water; then whosoever stepped in first, after the water is stirred was healed. This man was there for thirty eight years, he was an invalid. When Jesus saw him lying there, and knew that he had been there in that condition a long time, Jesus said to him, Do you want to get well? The man said, "Sir, I have no one to help me into the pool when the water is stirred. When I am coming another steps in before me."  Jesus said to the man "Rise, take up thy bed and walk." And immediately the man was made well, and he took up his bed, and walk. The miracle proved Christ Jesus to be the Son of God, and that He was working with the Father.  But His enemies became more violent, charging Him not only with breaking the Sabbath but also blasphemy, in calling God his Father, and making Himself equal with God. Every one who does not honour the Son, does not have, the Father.

This is the beloved Son of God, in whom God the Father is well pleased. Our Lord declared His authority, and His identity as the Messiah, as the Son of God, as the resurrected and ascended Lord, As one who has all authority in heaven and in earth and rule at God's right hand as king of kings, and Lord of lords.  V 28: Do not be amazed at this for a time is coming when all who are in the graves will hear His voice and come out those who have done good will rise to life, and those who have done evil will rise to be condemned. May the voice of God reach your hearts today, that by the power of the Holy Spirit your life will be changed, born anew in the kingdom of God. Christ the new and living way, that leads to life everlasting.  Matthew 16:27:  For the Son of Man is going to come in His Father's glory with angels, and then He will reward each person according to what he has done.    

  

A Samaritan woman meets her Messiah

When a Samaritan woman came to draw water, Jesus said to her, will you give me a drink? His disciples had gone to the city to buy food and He sat by the well to rest. The woman said, you are a Jew, and I am a Samaritan woman, how can you ask me for a drink?"[ because the Jews and the Samaritan do not associate with each other. Jesus said to her, If you knew the gift of God and who it is that asks you for a drink, you would have ask Him and He would have given you living water. The woman said sir, you have nothing to draw with, and the well is deep. Where can you get this living water? are you greater than our father Jacob who gave us the well and drink from it himself?.

Jesus answered, everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water that I will give him will never thirst, the water I will give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life." The woman said "sir, give me this water[She misunderstood what Jesus meant, by living water Jesus meant the Spirit. Christ took the occasion to teach her about Spiritual things; Jesus show her that the water of Jacob's well yielded a very short satisfaction. But the Holy Spirit, will be in you teaching you, and leading you in the right way]. Jesus said to her go call your husband;  and come back. She replied, I have no husband.

John 4:17 Jesus said to her, you are right when you say you have no husband. The fact is you have five husband. And the man you now have is not your husband. what you have said is true. The woman said, sir," I can see that you are a prophet. Our father worship on this mountain, Jesus said, Believe me, a time is coming when you will worship the father neither on this mountain, nor in Jerusalem. A time is coming  and has now come when the true worshiper will worship the father in spirit and in truth, the woman said, I know that Messiah" [called Christ] "is coming. When He comes, He will explain everything to us. Jesus said I that spoke to you I AM HE, When she understood she left her water pot and went to the city, and testify to the people about Jesus, many people believed, and came to Jesus; He stayed two more days.And because of his words, many more believe in Him.

Jesus heals the official's son, John 4: 44, When the man heard that Jesus had arrived in Galilee from Judea; he asked Jesus to come and heal his son who was close to death. Jesus said unless you people see miraculous signs and wonders, you will not believe.the man said, sir, come down and heal my son before he die. Jesus replied you may go, your son will live. The man took Jesus at His word and departed while he was on his on his way his servant met him with the news that his son was alive. they said the fever left him yesterday at the seventh hour. then the father new knew that it was the same hour Jesus said, your son lives. This was Jesus second miracle.                             

A Samaritan woman meets her Messiah

John 4:5-29, When a Samaritan woman came to draw water, Jesus said to her, will you give me a drink? His disciples had gone to buy food and He sat by the well to rest. The woman said to Him, you are a Jew, how can you ask me you for a drink?

Jesus teaches Nicodemus, about the new birth, and been born a new

 There was a Man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a member of the governing body of the Jewish people. He came to Jesus by night, and said to Him Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher come from God; for no one can do these sign that you do unless God is with Him. Jesus reply, I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again. Nicodemus ask, how can a man be born a gain when he is old.Surely he cannot enter a second time into his mothers womb to be born! Jesus said, I tell you the truth, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the spirit. Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the spirit gives birth to spirit. you should not be surprised at my saying. you must be born again. the wind blows where ever it pleases, you hear the sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going so it is with everyone born of the Spirit.
 
Jesus said to Nicodemus, if I have told you earthly things? and you do not believe, how will you believe if I told you heavenly things? No one has gone to heaven except the one who came from heaven, the Son of man. Just as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up. who so ever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. John new that the Lord Jesus Christ would increase in power and influence, and that he himself would decreased. As a messenger of God to prepare the way for the master he was fully satisfied with the work a sign to Him. he knew that Christ came from God, and the words that He spoke were from God, and He had the Spirit in all His fullness. And that everlasting life could only be had by faith in Jesus name.          

Jesus clears the Temple, and also proform His first miracle

John 2: Jesus first miracle took place at a wedding at Cana of Galilee, there He turn water into wine; Jesus Mother was there, His disciples were all so invited. John was interested in the demonstration of Jesus power and authority, this miracle has manifested His glory; and His Disciples believed on Him. Weddings were very important and it was a long Celebration, after this He went to Capernaum, with His Mother, Brothers and His disciples, they did not stay many days.

The passover  was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem. And He found in the temple those who sold oxen and sheep, doves and money changers doing business. He drove them all out of the Temple, and over turned the tables, and said to those that sold doves, take these things a way. do not make my father's house a house of merchandise1 Then the disciples remembered that it is written, the zeal of thine house hath eaten me up. So the Jews answer and said,what sign do you show us, since you do these things?

They demanded of Him a sign to prove His authority to do all the things that He did. Jesus answered,  destroy this temple, and I will rise it up in three days. He was speaking of His body When He is Crucified, but they thought that He was speaking about the temple where they worship, John 2:20-22,  Then the Jews said, it took forty six years to build this temple, and you will raised it up in three days?" After He was raised from the dead,His disciples recalled what He had said. Then they believed the scripture and the words that Jesus had spoken. 
           

JesusThe Christ, Eternal Word of God

In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God, and the was God. He was with God in  the  beginning. Through Him all things were made; without Him nothing was made that has been made. He was sent from God as the true light, that shines in darkness. One with the Father, the Eternal Son of God; John the Baptist came as a witness to testify of Him. He was in the world, and though the world was made though Him, the world did not recognize Him. Yet to all who received Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become Children of God.

John's gospel shows that Jesus is both God and Man in one person. Jesus is Lord the Great I AM. The Word became flesh and made His dwellings among us, and we beheld His Glory as of the only begotten Son of the Father, full of grace and truth. John announced Jesus as the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world. Isaiah 40:3-5, John was sent to prepare the way for the Lord, he was the forerunner of the Lord Jesus Christ. Isaiah 53:7, He was oppressed and afflicted, yet He did not opened His mouth; He was led like a Lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is silent. Jesus Himself said, here after ye shall see heaven open and the angels of God a sending and desending upon the Son of Man

John affirms that the same word by which God Created the world in the beginning; and that word was not well received throughout history, so now in Jesus, it was not well received by His Country Men. He came to His own, and His own did not received Him. But as many as received Him to them He gave the power to become the Children of God, even to them that believe on His name. John saw and bare record that Jesus is the Son of God. The promised one,John 3:16, For God so Loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish bur have eternal life.
