John 18:1-8, After our Lord prayed for all believer's He left with His disciples and cross the Brook Cedron. On the other side there was a Gorden, and He and His disciples went in. And Judas also, which betrayed Him, knew the place: because Jesus had often met there with His disciples. Jesus, knowing all things that should come upon Him, went forth, and said unto them,Whom seek ye? they answered Him, Jesus of Nazareth. I Am He, And Judas also which betrayed Him, stood with them. As soon then as he had said unto them, I am he, they went backward, and fell to the ground. Jesus said to them again, Whom seek ye? And they said, Jesus of Nazareth. Jesus answered, I have told you that I Am He; if there fore ye seek Me, let these go their way.[ In John 6;15, When Jesus therefore perceived that they would take Him by force, to make Him king, He departed to the mountain by Himself alone. Pilate said, take Him, and judge Him according to your law, The Jews said, it is not lawful for us to put any man to death. That the saying of Jesus may be fulfilled, which He spake, signifying what death He Should die. Pilate entered the Judgment hall again, and said to Jesus, Art thou the king of the Jews? Jesus said, My kingdom is not of this world. If it were, My servant would fight to prevent My arrest, but now My kingdom is from another place." you are a king then! said Pilate. Jesus answered, you are right in saying I Am a King. To this end I was born, and for this cause I came into the world that I should bear witness of the truth. Every one that is of the truth hears My voice. Pilate ask, what is truth? Pilate did not wait for the answer, but went out, and said to the Jews, I find in Him no fault at all. But it is your Custom for me to release to you one prisoner at the time of Passover. Do you want me to release the king of the Jews? They shouted back, No, not this Man, but Barabbas.
