Luke 2:11-15, For unto you is born this day in the City of David a Savior which is Christ the Lord.And this shall be a sign unto you; ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. And Suddenly, there was with the angel a multitude of heavenly host praising God and saying, Glory to God in the highest and on earth peace good will towards Men.And all they that heard it wondered at those things which were told them by the Shepherds; But Mary, kept the things that were spoken, in her heart.And when eight days were accomplished for the circumcising of the Child; His Name was called Jesus, which was so named by the angel; before He was conceived in the womb.
Luke 2:25-There was a Man in Jerusalem whose name was Simeon; a just and devout Man; and the holy Ghost was with him: and it was revealed unto him by the holy Ghost, that he should not see death until he see the Lord’s Christ. And he came by the holy Spirit into the Temple; and when the parents brought in the Child Jesus, to do for Him according to the custom of the Law; Then Simeon took Jesus in his arms and blessed God, and said, Lord, now lettest thou thy servant depart in peace, according to thy word: For my eyes have seen thy Salvation, which thou hast prepared before the face of all People; A light to lighten the Gentiles, and the glory of thy people Israel.
Luke 2:36, And there was one Anna,a prophetess, she lived in the temple and served God with fasting and prayers night and day; she also came in at the same time and give thanks to the Lord, and spoke of Him to all them that looked for redemption in Jerusalem; according to the Law. After this they return home, and the Child grew strong in Spirit, filled with wisdom: And the grace of God was upon Him.V 42, When He was twelve years old, They went to Jerusalem after the custom of the feast. and when they were returning Jesus tarried behind, His parents was looking for Him;and found Him sitting in the temple in the midst of Doctors, both hearing them, and asking questions.
They were astonished at his understanding and answers. And when they saw Him they were amazed:and His Mother said Son ,your Father and I have sought for you sorrowing: And He said unto them,How is it that ye sought me? Do you not know that I must be about my father’s business? They did not understand what He was saying to them but Mary kept all those saying in Her heart.Jesus went home, and was subject to them.And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and Man On this Christmas day would you say yes to God offer of Salvation? John 3:16 For God so Loved He gave His Son, as a free gift to the World. .
